Comments: This movie (or mini-series, really) really changed the way I looked at life. I know this sounds corny, but for an 11 year-old girl, this movie made impact - it had adventure, romance, juvenile treachery, poetry! What wonderfully fleshed-out characters. I now own the movie, after having a choppy dubbed version on tape, and watch it all the time. It never fails to impress me.
I truly believe that MEGAN FOLLOWS is Oscar-worthy herein. If only! She's a wonderful actress, as evident in her movie Under the Piano. Jonathan Crombie was also deserving in this film. The producers couldn't have picked a better team to play Anne and Gilbert. Their relationship is captured perfectly. I hope to see Megan in anything and everything she does - what a truly talented woman she is. Can you tell I love 'Anne' by the way I'm gushing? Great web site! Thanks. :) Dena

Comments: I grew up on L.M. Montgomery books and the Anne of Green Gables movies. Now at 19, I finally own my own copy of the movies and I still watch them over and over. These movies, as will the next,(dispite the fact that it is totally different from the books) are great for children. I have saved every single one and can't wait to read them with my kids. They show every aspect of literature: romance, mystery, fantasy, and most of all reality. These books are excelent and I am so glad that people are promoting them through these web pages.
