What is PAL? NTSC?

Television standards are different throughout the world. A Candian can not bring a video tape from Canada to the UK and expect it to play in their VCRs. The television (and therefore, also VCR) standards are different. The two major standards are NTSC (used in USA, Canada) and PAL (used in most of Europe, Australia, and New Zealand). Some Asian countries use NTSC (Taiwan, South Korea, Japan), while some use PAL (China, Vietnam). Still other countries use a standard called SECAM. See full list of countries and their TV standards.

You can't play a tape of one standard in the VCR of another standard, so be careful when ordering videos from another country. If you so desire, you can purchase a multi-standard VCR. Often, they are sold at any electronics store that sells VCRs. They are also available on the Internet.

Will there be a fourth movie?

As of now, there are no plans for a fourth Anne movie.

Where can I buy a movie poster?

Movie posters are available at Sullivan Boutique .

How can I meet/chat with other Anne fans?

I maintain a listserv with hundreds of Anne fans from around the world. While only about 10% of them (roughly 30 people) are active participants, we all have a great time. We are kindred spirits, bonded together by our admiration of Lucy Maud Montgomery's red-haired heroine. As such, we love discussing Anne, but we also like to learn more about each other. We are known as the AnneFans (we're the originals) and we'd love to have you join our list. Read our posts or just join by sending an empty email to AnneFans-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
